Press:

Times Argus and Vermont Today staff writer Anne Galloway describes Reese’s works as “gems,” saying “Her spare, impressionistic style gives the layered patches of snow, tufts of grass and ridge lines emerging in the background an authentic naturalism.”

Marc Awodney, Art Critic for Seven Days, Vermont’s Alternative Weekly: "The show's other noteworthy works are modest in scale, (including) two horizontal triptychs by Deborah Frankel Reese, oil landscapes on which layers of tissue paper provide skin like textures and deep strata of color.”

Eileen Watkins, Art Critic, Newark Star Ledger: “Reese shows she is adept at animal forms, even while she presents them as dreamlike, fading into their surroundings… Her satisfying, strong figure work shows she is adept at composition.”

Membership: Slide Registry of NJ Women Artists, Rutgers University; NJ Art Index Slide Registry, Newark Museum; StudioMontclair; Vermont Arts Council; AVA Gallery; Access Arts® Network; Strafford ARTWORKS.
